Claudia Herrmann
Ph.D. and experienced regulatory professional in the biotech and biosolutions sector.
She held regional and global regulatory leadership roles in both established multinational companies such as Monsanto, Bayer, BASF and Chr Hansen, and dynamic startups operating in the sustainable agriculture sector. In these roles, she spearheaded global regulatory strategies bridging the gap between research and scientific innovation and commercial success, managed complex projects, secured approvals, and led successful market launches across the globe.
Claudia’s expertise within biotech spans across Agriculture, Food and Feed and bio-materials. Across these different sectors she has deep expertise in conducting the risk assessment for genetically modified organisms (GMO) and products developed through new genomic techniques (NGT).

Tomasz Kowalczewski
Seasoned expert in climate policy and sustainable development.
As a senior policy officer at the Polish Ministry of Environment and member of the UNFCCC negotiation team he shaped policies on carbon accounting for forestry and agriculture, as well as green house gas (GHG) inventories.
During his time at COWI and NIRAS he participated in development aid and technical assistance projects and elaborated technical studies for the European Commission.
Tomasz had a leading role in the design and implementation of the largest carbon farming project in Europe which promoted the adoption of sustainable agriculture practices.
As a certified GHG accounting expert he ensures that climate change mitigation projects achieve tangible effects while aligning with international standards such as Verra, Gold Standard, and ISO.

Regina Kovács
Biochemichal Engineer, Project assistant
Regina Kovacs is a Master’s student in Biomaterial Engineering for Medicine at the Technical University of Denmark (DTU), with a Bachelor’s degree in Biochemical Engineering specialized in Biotechnology. She has hands-on experience from the pharmaceutical industry, having worked in analytical and biochemical research environments, including a bachelor’s thesis focused on enzymatic synthesis.
